Indeed, the X15 HIQ loudspeaker is an active coaxial system designed to be a benchmark stage monitor. The X15 HIQ is equipped with a 3 '' diaphragm compression chamber motor co-axially loaded by a 15 '' bass-midrange driver in a bass-reflex cabinet. On the other hand, at a high SPL level, L-Vents laminar vents reduce the effects of turbulence and associated parasitic noise to maximize the efficiency of the bass register of the enclosure.
The X15 HIQ operates on the 55 - 20 kHz band. The coaxial assembly of the loudspeakers associated with an ellipsoid waveguide provides a regular frequency response over the entire coverage of 40 ° x 60 °, without side lobes over the entire passband.
